thePanel is looking for writers for our upcoming blog: Understanding the Horn of Africa. The purpose of the blog is to set the stage for an event, on October 1, 2014, on what Canada's role should be in the Horn of Africa.
As one of the writers you will help shape the discussion via your contributions. Beyond getting your name in print, you will also be a VIP guest at the discussion!
Details: articles are to be between 800-1,000 words and will focus on any issues facing the Horn of Africa: governance, aid, geostrategic, human rights, ethnic, constitutional design etc. Contributors will be pitch their topics to the editorial team. While not essential you may also want to have a Canadian connection. If you are interested please send a short pitch of your idea and your resume to firstname.lastname@example.org by May 30 (If you need any ideas on what to write on, please contact us and we'll provide some guidance!). We are happy to entertain more than one idea per writer. Be sure to check out our guidelines for more details.
